West Gippsland Eight Ball League

ROUND six of the West Gippsland Eight Ball League was a great round with lots of changes to the ladder. Kooweerup Blues slid from second spot to fifth after a tight loss to Bunyip Railway.
Pakenham Railway had its first win for the season with the help of Jimmy Duncan and Steve Raszkicwicz against the struggling Bunyip Footballers. Even the expertise of Steven Whyte and Glenn O’Halloran couldn’t help them.
Tooradin charged into the top six with a mighty win over Nar Nar Goon Blues, all thanks to Jason Gaosden.
Pakenham Inn was heading in the right direction, moving from 11th to ninth last week with a convincing win over Longwarry Blues. Best player for the night was James Stoiljkovic.
Nar Nar Goon Reds dropped a spot after a defeat from the unbeaten Lang Lang, which was sitting nicely in top spot with a four-point lead.
Kooweerup had a great night with a win over Bunyip Bottom Pub, which has taken the team into third place.
This week in round seven the game to watch will be between Bunyip Railway Hotel and the unbeaten Lang Lang, the top two battling out top spot.
