POLICE are investigating an aggravated burglary in Pakenham.
A 34yearold woman has told police she was asleep in bed in her Howey Road home when she woke about 12.45am to find a man wearing a balaclava and gloves cutting her right arm with a knife.
She said she chased the burglar out of the house before calling police. She was treated for minor cuts to her forearm.
Police found a knife nearby and are seeking a man believed to be in his 30s, 170cmll and of thin build.
