Cora Lynn scrapes a win

CORA Lynn played in some tight matches against Longwarry but managed only a onepoint win in F grade at the weekend.

B GRADE

Cora Lynn started the first quarter with fire and accuracy, which resulted in a sixgoal lead. But in the second and third quarters, after changes throughout the team, there was an 11goal turnaround.
In the last quarter Cora Lynn picked up the momentum with both defenders working tirelessly in an excellent quarter.

C GRADE

Cora Lynn started well in the first half and showed strong passages of play down the court and the goalers combined well and showed great consistency.
Longwarry stepped up its efforts in the second half and the Cobras were unable to keep up.

D GRADE

Cora Lynn put up an excellent fight, showing improvement all over the court. The team worked extremely well down the midcourt to keep the game as close as possible, but Longwarry ran away with it in the last two quarters.

E GRADE

Cora Lynn tried hard until the last whistle and played with more confidence, encouraging teammates throughout.

F GRADE

The under 13s played their best game so far this season. Every player put in a fourquarter effort and showed excellent teamwork. Tarlia Petterson played an outstanding game at goal defence and kept her head up the whole game. Cora Lynn held on for a well deserved win.
