TWO more properties have been added to Cardinia Shire Council’s real estate portfolio. It recently bought 165 Henry Road for $975,000 and 37 James Street for $450,000, according to the shire’s latest quarterly report.
The Gazette reported last week that the council had also purchased a premier block of land at the gateway to Pakenham’s Main Street, paying $1 million in a preauction deal.
The 2360squaremetre site was bought in what the council described as a “strategic purchase” that would complement council’s existing interests in the area.
The council recently sold land at Lot 3 North South Bypass Road for $700,000.
