ALL Garfield teams won at the weekend, including the first victory in 17andunder grade.

A GRADE

Garfield got a slow start but finished strongly.
After the loss of a couple of players in the past few weeks the side has adapted. Strong defence by Heath Mills and Sheree Forster caused many turnovers.

B GRADE

Garfield got a great start and never looked back for four quarters.

C GRADE

Garfield showed its strength from the start.

17 AND UNDER

Hard work all season off and on the court finally paid off with the team’s first win.
Defenders Bee Draper and Casey Dawes played strong and with confidence, well supported by the midcourt players. Goalers Renae Wright and Kelly McMillan persisted all game, capitalising on opportunities in windy conditions.

15 AND UNDER

In a brilliant team effort a lot of Morwell turnovers were worked down the court well and converted through excellent goals in windy conditions.

13 AND UNDER

A top little side that is progressing with each match the improvements shown on the weekend by the strong defence, great passages of play and excellent goals.
