Gun, drugs found in raid

POLICE seized a shot gun, cannabis plants, mobile phones and jewellery during a raid on a property in Carlisle Drive, Officer, last week.
A 29yearold Officer man was arrested in relation to the 8 February raid.
He was charged with burglary, handling stolen goods and possessing cannabis.
He was bailed to appear before Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 17 March.
The day after the raid a 22yearold Doveton man was arrested in Officer.
Police pulled up next to a car at an Officer service station and found a small amount of amphetamines in the car.
A man will be charged on summons with possessing amphetamines to appear before Dandenong Magistrates’ Court at a later date.
