MORE than 2000 fish were released into the lake at Pakenham’s Lakeside estate last week.
Western Port Province MP Geoff Hilton and Emerald MP Tammy Lobato helped out in the fish stocking initiative.
Mr Hilton said the fish stocking was part of the State Government’s statewide program that releases more than one million fish each year.
The yearling rainbow trout are expected to significantly bolster fish stocks at the lake.
