Mitre 10’s beaut backyard bonanza

HARDY’S Mitre 10 MEGA Pakenham invites all locals to the ‘MEGA Backyard Weekend’ this Saturday and Sunday 28 and 29 October.
The ‘MEGA Backyard Weekend’ is an extravaganza of all things backyard with demonstrations and advice available from experts on a variety of topics such as deck treatments, painting and turf laying.
A feature of the expo will be free water conservation advice from Nylex representatives and other industry experts on how Australians can make their homes and gardens more water efficient.
With Australia on the brink of one of the driest summers on record and water restrictions in place, now is a great time to find out the best ways to make a difference to water usage.
Wendy Williamson, garden business development manager Mitre 10, said the ‘MEGA Backyard Weekend’ would be a great event for the whole family.
“With free soil testing, chainsaw sculpting demonstrations, potting classes and a host of other activities on offer, visitors will thoroughly enjoy their day out while also picking up some handy hints for around the home,” she said.
The ‘MEGA Backyard Weekend’ will run next Saturday, 28 October and Sunday, 29 October at Hardy’s Mitre 10 MEGA Pakenham on the corner of Bald Hill Road and Racecourse Road, Pakenham.
