OFFICER under14 team had a good leadup to the finals with a powerful 49point win against Beaconsfield at home last Friday night.
After a slow start, Officer got its game together in the third quarter and ran over its opponents in the last.

The Officer Kangaroos lost the toss and had to kick into a strong wind in the first quarter against Pakenham on Sunday.
Pakenham scored the first major and Officer responded with Daniel Ellett running into an open goal and then marking a kick out for a goal.
With Jackson Fromhold, Tim Hogben and Ben O’Loughlin winning possessions in the midfield, the Kangaroos were on top in the second quarter with Mark Vandenacker kicking three goals for the quarter. The third quarter saw Brock Jackson and Michael White stand out as the Kangaroo backline was under pressure.
In the final quarter, Blake Gilbert and Matt Rogers won the centre clearances for Officer, while up forward Ben O’Loughlin excelled kicking three of the Kangaroo’s seven goals of the term.
The club congratulated Xavier Quigley and Tom Black for their 50 games.

Officer travelled to a windy Cranbourne, got off to a slow start and the opposition took a commanding lead into the second quarter.
The Kangaroos scored two majors in the second half, but this was not enough to bridge the gap and Cranbourne ran out comfortable winners.

Narre Warren, kicking with the breeze, started well kicking three goals to Officer’s one in the first quarter. The second saw Officer attack the ball a lot harder and kicked three goals to nil to lead by five points at the main break.
In the third quarter both teams played with lots of endeavour and kicking a goal each.
The last quarter was a torrid affair with Narre Warren kicking the winning a goal on the siren.
