One win for young Tooradin

TOORADINDalmore junior netballers came away with one win from three semifinals against Pakenham on Saturday.

UNDER 17

Tooradin put on a fine show for supporters against Pakenham in the second semifinal.
In another close game Tooradin worked tirelessly as a team to produce a twogoal victory.
Scores: Tooradin 22 d Pakenham 20.

UNDER 15

Despite a stellar performance from its defence Tooradin came away with a loss to Pakenham by seven goals in the second semifinal.
Scores: Pakenham 26 d Tooradin 19.

UNDER 13

TooradinDalmore went down by one goal in a thrilling second semifinal against Pakenham. Tooradin got a shaky start and Pakenham capitalised, going six goals ahead at quartertime.
In the second quarter, Tooradin steadied and began playing consistently.
Accurate goaling by Melissa Attwood, great defence from Mel Mantel and crucial intercepts by Tiff Findlay kept Tooradin within eight goals.
In the third quarter Tooradin’s midcourt drives and great feeding by Summa James and Tarah Martin helped Kellie North and Melissa Attwood make the most of goaling opportunities.
In the last quarter Tooradin again started well and led by a goal in the dying minutes, but Pakenham fought back to take the game by one goal.
