ROC Netball Club’s Bgrade team fought out a close game with Dingley on Saturday, going down by two goals.
The team adapted well with changes made every quarter. Last season ROC was convincingly defeated twice by Dingley and again in the semi final, so this was an excellent effort.
A strong defence caused many turnovers, with accurate feeding to the goalers and the centre court demonstrated smart netball. Scores: ROC 49 lost to Dingley 51.
C GRADE
The final scores of the game failed to show the tremendous effort the team showed in its second game of the season.
It was a tough game, however great support was shown by all team members.
The defence was strong and provided many turnovers.
A strong centre court gained many intercepts and despite the height of Dingley’s defence, the goalers shot exceptionally well.
Scores: ROC 18 lost to Dingley 40.
