HARKAWAY Primary School has received $750,000 to build generalpurpose classrooms, a library, staff and administration areas, a firstaid room, and amenities.
La Trobe MP Jason Wood said the money is from the Commonwealth Government’s capital grants program.
The total cost of the Harkaway project is just over $2 million.
“The Commonwealth Government recognises the importance of funding schools in La Trobe and ensuring the best possible opportunities for our students,” he said.
