PAKENHAM softballers had an excellent game in the Social Women’s grade last week, Pakenham just failing to take the win.
All Pakenham players batted well and there was good base running in a highscoring game. But the big hitting of the Cobras made it hard to keep their score down.

After a slow start at bat Pakenham showed they would not give up easily. Kassie and Meaghan Cook, both firsttime pitchers, did an outstanding job. Sam Ferguson and Chloe Moss, both firsttime catchers, also did a great jobs while Brodie Robinson and Cassie Bridgett batted well.
Scores: Pakenham 12 lost to Doveton 18.

In a slow start to the game Pakenham was behind 37. But the side got some good outs on the field and was able to get seven batters home in the last dig to draw the game. Jamie Lee did a great job running the bases.
Scores: Pakenham Angels 10 drew with Berwick Cherokees 10.
