TWO young boys have been cautioned by police over an attempted breakin at Pakenham Secondary College.
Police said the boys, aged 10 and 12, were inside the schoolgrounds in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police were alerted and a patrol car found the boys, who were on pushbikes, in a nearby street around 3am.
Police took the boys to the Pakenham Police station and called their parents.
Acting Senior Sergeant Graham Higginbotham said it did not appear anything had been taken from the school but warned against trespassing after hours.
“We’re concerned that young people are out at that time of night,” he said.
