Federal finalist

A PAKENHAM business is a finalist in a federal awards program that showcases leading edge initiatives being used to attract and retain women in the workforce.
G. and K. O’Connor Pty Ltd, which operates a major meatworks in Kooweerup Road, is one of six companies in the running. for an award recognising the advancement of women in a nontraditional role.
The awards are presented by the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace agency. Winners will be announced today.
