Fulfil a wish to help

A GOLF day at Pakenham will help grant the wishes of children with lifethreatening illnesses.
The golf day on Monday, 10 October will be held in conjunction with a dinnerdance at Noble Park on Saturday, 15 October, all proceeds going to the Cardinia Casey MakeAWish Foundation.
Pakenhambased AMP financial planner Michael O’Rourke has planned the event in conjunction with the Noble Park RSL.
Mr O’Rourke said he was excited to announce the AMP Foundation would match funds raised by the golf day and dinner, dollarfordollar, up to $10,000 through its community fundraising program.
“We hope that granting a wish will provide an avenue of hope and strength to “wish” children and their families,” Mr O’Rourke said.
“I’m delighted that with the support of AMP and others we are able to make a real difference to the lives of these children and their families.”
The charity dinner will be held at the Noble Park RSL from 6.30pm on Saturday, 15 October and the golf day at Pakenham from 7.30am on Monday, 10 October.
The golf day is $40 (includes 18 holes and twocourse lunch). To book, phone 0419 568 768 and the dinner dance will have a $10 cover charge per person.
For bookings phone 5941 9888.
