GEMBROOK MP Tammy Lobato was given a glowing report recently by Environment Minister John Thwaites.
Mr Thwaites acknowledged that politicians often congratulated fellow politicians but said his praise of Ms Lobato was particularly deserved.
Speaking at the recent Cardinia Environment Coalition’s annual general meeting, Mr Thwaites said Ms Lobato had been a keen supporter of the move to hand management of the Beaconsfield Reservoir over to a communitybased committee.
“I can honestly say Tammy has been single minded to achieve this. It is a good example of a local MP and community working together for a good outcome,” Mr Thwaites said.
