New man seeks new umpires

ALAN Berry is the new WGCA’s umpires’ advisor.
Berry has become a well respected umpire since he began officiating in West Gippsland games a few seasons ago and his appointment will be welcomed by local players and club members.
Experienced and capable umpires Jim Smith, Jim Henry and Mike Rolfe will be missing from the local scene this season, so Berry is anxious to recruit new members to this rewarding and well remunerated role.
Anyone interested in becoming a WGCA umpire should contact Alan Berry on 5629 6140.
