Park friends to meet

THE Friends of Wilson Botanic Park group will hold its annual meeting in the park reception centre at 4pm on Sunday, 26 March.
The meeting will include an open forum at which people can make suggestions about the park.
A free barbecue with BYO drinks will follow the meeting.
People planning to attend should RSVP to the president on 9707 1750 or the secretary on 9707 1452 by Friday, 24 March.
The group’s March newsletter notes that Wilson Botanic Park is no longer Berwick’s bestkept secret and it is regularly filled with visitors enjoying its beauty.
Music is a regular activity at the park.
President Margaret Rossell said in the newsletter that the eighth Valentine’s Day picnic provided another delightful evening.
She said this was a calm, peaceful evening with participants appreciative of the beauty and tranquillity of Wilson Botanic Park.
