School parade an open book

BERWICK Primary School students brought their favourite book characters to life last Wednesday (31 August) in a book character parade.
The parade was part of literacy week.
Children were involved in literacy activities every day throughout the week.
They were encouraged to bring a special guest to read a story with.
They read stories over the morning broadcast, listened to Hans Christian Anderson stories in the library during lunchtimes and took part in literaturebased activities with their friends.
