Seniors’ club hits the road

MEMBERS of the Pakenham Senior Citizens Club enjoyed a scenic drive and a Christmas dinner at Kinglake last week.
The lucky ticket holders were Ron Dyker, Cynthia Gee, Elsie Harvie and Ken Early, but a good time was had by all.
Birthday wishes this week go to Una Caffra, Molly Bowler, Ruth Stawenga, Susan Johns, Wendy Dixon, Cynthia Niddrie, Ada Walker, Margaret Blacker, Barbara Monckton, Olive Wray, Yvonne Burnett, Piet Boekel and Frans Reiffer.
Visitors Ian and Margaret Richardson were made welcome by members.
Our next event is Christmas dinner at the club on 12 December.
If you wish to book, do so now or you may miss out.
This will be our last meeting for 2005. We meet again on Monday, 16 January 2006.
Little Tatts winners were Dot Hynes, Enid Boyden, Muriel Clarke and Shirley Atkins.
Door prize winners were Betty Mills and Jack Hynes and Betty Woodberry won the raffle.
There were 137 members in attendance.
