THE top young horse and rider combinations from around the region put their best hooves forward at the Victorian Equestrian Centre (VEC) in Upper Beaconsfield.
The state interschool showjumping competition saw riders compete in three heats before the final last Friday.
VEC proprietor Ken Aldred was pleased with the high standard shown by competitors who came from Emerald, Cranbourne, Drouin, Rosebud, Flinders, Melbourne and further afield.
