Training off and running

OFFICER Cricket Club’s training is under way for both seniors and juniors.
The under 11s and under 13s are training on Tuesday from 4.45pm onwards with the under 15s and under 17s training on Thursday from 4.45pm.
Gavin Boon, a Cricket Victoriaaccredited level two coach, heads the junior coaching and has also successfully coached the West Gippsland Cricket Association under 16 team.
Steve Chapman from Casey Sports will also be attending training regularly to help provide specialist coaching.
The senior players are training at 10am this Sunday at Officer and will also start training at 5pm on Tuesday, 19 September continuing on Tuesday, Thursday nights and Sunday mornings up until the start of the season on Saturday, 7 October.
