Tulip festival

NOW in it’s 51st year, the 2005 Tesselaar Tulip Festival will be held from 14 September to 12 October.
The festival began more than half a century ago when Cees Tesselaar Snr opened his tulip farm up to the public. This year’s Festival will celebrate the intricate and sometimes sordid history of the tulip.
The festival has something for everyone, from food and wine to children and senior’s days and the ever popular Irish weekend. The festival will be held at the Tesselaar Tulip farm at 357 Monbulk Road, Silvan.
