CONCERNS have been raised about an act of ‘environmental vandalism’.
Cardinia Shire Council is investigating claims that five hectares of land was cleared without permission at a property in Railway Avenue, Garfield.
Cr Helen Ward raised the issue at council’s meeting on Monday.
Council planning manager Phil Walton said the action was being pursued through the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
