BERWICK’S Andrew Fuller finished first outright of the 97 drivers registered to compete in the Alphera Dutton Rally Victoria on July 2931.
He and father Ernie had hoped to finish first in the teams’ category, as they had the year before, but had to settle for fourth of the 87 teams.
Not all cars had both driver and codriver and Ernie finished fourth outright of the 87 codrivers.
The pair had hoped to mirror their victory of the previous year, but was forced to battle hard against teams from SA, WA, Tasmania, Queensland, ACT, NSW and Victoria.
