CASEY ARC has expanded its health club with the opening of a new core strength and stretching room.
Council chief executive Mike Tyler said the new room would service the centre’s almost 4000strong membership base.
“Casey ARC has seen continuous growth over the last four years and this expansion will ensure members can complete their workout in a more spacious and relaxed environment,” he said.
Mr Tyler said the extra 44 square metres of floor space would provide a dedicated area for floorbased exercises including abdominal and core strength training, fit ball drills and stretching.
“Relocation of the stretching area from the main floor will allow for more pin loaded exercise machines as well as a clearly defined space for the timeefficient express lane workout,” he said.
