Art grants open

INDIVIDUAL artists as well as art and community groups in the Pakenham district are being encouraged to apply for Arts Victoria funding.
Gembrook MP Tammy Lobato said $6.2 million was available in this year’s funding program and applications were now open across a variety of categories.
“There continues to be a strong focus on communitybased art activities, which enables people who may not be artists themselves to have access to artists or to participate in an artbased activity,” Ms Lobato said.
