TOORADIN’S $750,000 boardwalk across Evans Inlet is expected to be completed by the end of September this year.
The boardwalk is part of a plan to provide a structural base for the establishment of pontoon moorings for recreational boats.
The key benefits include a pierlike experience for residents and visitors to enjoy the recreational and natural qualities of the inlet in close proximity.
The boardwalk will provide improved access across the water between the shops, hotel, recreation reserve, and a safe linkage for pedestrians away from highspeed traffic on the highway.
