Chemist robbed again

MORE than $7500 worth of men’s aftershave and ladies’ perfumes were stolen from the Berwick Amcal Pharmacy on Sunday during a twominute snatch and grab.
This is the second hit on the shop in four months.
Two men entered the Amcal Chemist in High Street after throwing a garden rock through the shop front window about 5.22am.
Video footage showed one man removing a heavy hammer from his backpack and smashing open three locked display cabinets. The men then placed the perfumes into a large bag, which they dragged out through the hole in the front window.
Police believe the men had a car waiting in front of the pharmacy because a few bottles of perfume were found in the gutter. Both men had their faces covered and were wearing dark coats and gloves.
Police said $5000 worth of men’s fragrances and $2500 women’s fragrances were taken.
