FOOTBALL spectators kicked a goal on the weekend with police impressed with driver behaviour around local final venues.
Just over 1000 drivers were randomly breath tested at several different locations around Kooweerup after the Ellinbank and District Football League grand final was played on Saturday.
Only one motorist, who was already disqualified from driving, was over the .05 blood alcohol limit.
Police set up a booze bus in Bayles and placed units on several roads leading from the Kooweerup Recreation Reserve from 4pm through to 8pm.
