ADULT learners at Emerald are free to roam in cyberspace, thanks to Cardinia Shire Council.
The town’s University of the Third Age (U3A) group will receive council funding to cover its 2006 internet usage.
Ranges ward councillors Ed Chatwin and Graeme Legge were supported by their colleagues at council’s 23 January meeting in donating $804 from ward funds.
Cr Legge said U3A was a strong and useful organisation and one that was well worth supporting.
