YOUNG people have a chance to kick off a career in publishing, editing or design by becoming part of Cardinia Shire’s newly created youth news editorial team.
The youth publication will be designed to give young people a vehicle to express their views and publicise events.
The publication will be designed by young people for young people and will be distributed around the shire.
Positions are voluntary and no previous experience is necessary, but creativity and a desire to bring news to the young people of Cardinia are required.
The first meeting to get the publication under way is scheduled for 27 October between 4.30pm and 6.30pm at the Pakenham Library.
