WORK is well underway on new traffic lights in Racecourse Road, Pakenham.
The lights are being installed to improve safety at the intersection of Racecourse Road and the Princes Highway. The lights have been said to be only temporary at this stage, with VicRoads officials to review their future after the completion of the Pakenham Bypass. Cardinia Shire councillor Kate Lempriere said she was thrilled to see the lights taking shape, saying she had lobbied hard for a fix to traffic concerns in the area.
