PAKENHAM UpperToomuc Cricket Club’s ladies team fought hard, but went down to North Caulfield on Sunday.
The Yabbies travelled to North Caulfield for their first game after the Christmas break and opened the batting, setting a disappointing target of 40.
It was solid bowling by R. Baker (2/18), A. Littlejohn (1/33), J. Perri (2/25) and N. Brice (2/10).
There was also an excellent caught behind and a stumping to wicketkeeper E. Storer.
Strong fielding performances by the team kept North Caulfield 88 all out.
