MEMBERS of Pakenham Seniors were saddened to learn of the passing of Lindsay Maitland.
He will be greatly missed by everyone and the club’s thoughts and prayers are with Lena and family.
Celebrating birthdays are Mary Smith, Betty Clark, Betty Woodberry, Lucy Rouse, Val Woods, Elisabeth Algra, Ted Algra, Nell Rickard, Joyce Porter and Norma Cougle.
Henry Nash and Lilian Wright are in hospital and the club’s good wishes go to both.
Margaret Nash was welcomed back to the club.
New members are Win Pankhurst and June Ross.
Visiting was Edna from Queensland.
Coming events include the movie A Good Woman on Wednesday, 5 October.
Little Tatts winners were Doris Barker, Betty Woodberry, Noel Lawrence and Doris Swales.
Door prize winners were Roma Bartley and Martha Walgers.
The raffle was won by Susan Johns, Ruther Smith and Mary Smith.
There were 130 members in attendance.
