DROUIN fought hard, but went down to home side Moe 96/81 in the division-one game of the round on Saturday.
The win consolidated Moe’s position in the top four, while Drouin sits in fifth spot.
It was a tough day on Saturday as players had to contend with strong, gusty winds that made good bowling very difficult.
In other games Morwell Club beat Longwarry 112/81, Traralgon won 109/82 against Neerim and Trafalgar narrowly beat Yallourn 97/92.
In division two, Warragul gave unbeaten Traralgon (2) a huge thumping at Warragul, winning 115/66. Moe beat Thorpdale 112/94, Yallourn North won its second game in a row beating Traralgon (3) 105/89 and RSL won 99/89 against Garfield.
In division three Drouin got back into winning mode, demolishing Morwell 117/78, Trafalgar continued its good form beating Yallourn 100/90, Warragul beat Boolarra 93/82 and Morwell Club was far too good for Yinnar winning 101/74.
