Pakenham tosses Beacy

FOR the first time in quite a while against Beaconsfield, Pakenham had a great result at the end of the day, coming out victors in five of six games.

Pakenham had a fine win against the strong Beaconsfield team with a great contest throughout. The Pakenham fitness and teamwork gave the players the edge to complete the excellent win in the final quarter.

Pakenham came off the break with a new line up and faced a tough opponent, Beaconsfield. With lots of determination and persistence Pakenham worked through the game to come away with a deserved win. The defensive end was tight and great movement through the centre court set up the goalers for an accurate game.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:UNDER 17

The centre court was a little cluttered at times but the Pakenham players worked it down well to lead at the halftime break. In the second half Pakenham dominated with a super defence, creating many turnovers for the goalers to capitalise on, taking victory by 10 goals and remaining undeafeated.

Pakenham’s strong goalers established a good lead early in the first quarter. Teamwork and endeavour provided the edge for the four quarters, resulting in an excellent win.

Pakenham played a tall and strong Beaconsfield team and, after not playing for three weeks, showed inaccuracy in passing that affected the play. The defence stood up well.
