UPPER Beaconsfield Primary School has received approval to plan the next stage of its building project.
Gembrook MP Tammy Lobato said the school community could work towards developing detailed plans for new building works.
“With this new approval, the school will be able to select architects and other professionals to finalise plans,” Ms Lobato said.
“Completion of plans is expected by November this year, which will then allow for the new works to be considered for funding in future state budgets.
“Money being invested in the school ensures that school children, their families and the towns in which they live have access to quality education.
“I am delighted that rebuilding the school is progressing so well and that the stage two phase has been approved so quickly.”
