CONCERNS about signs restricting motorists’ line of sight at the Nar Nar Goon railway crossing have been backed by Bass MP Ken Smith.
The Liberal MP has written to Transport Minister Peter Batchelor in support of residents who believe the recently erected sign restricts the sight of motorists coming out from Racecourse Road onto Nar Nar Goon Road.
“It is an extremely dangerous situation,” Mr Smith said.
Mr Smith called on Mr Batchelor to ask his department to investigate and remedy the situation, described as a huge problem by Nar Nar Goon Progress Association president Bernie Byrne.
