St Patrick’s Parish

PASS It On The Message Stick. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the visit of Pope John Paul II to Australia. One of the most significant addresses Pope John Paul delivered was in Alice Springs to the indigenous people of Australia.
Pope John Paul II said, “The church in Australia will not be fully the church that Jesus wants her to be until you (indigenous Australians) have made your contribution to her life, and until that contribution has been joyfully received by others.”
The “Pass It On” initiative is an invitation to revisit the Popes address, to ponder its significance and celebrate the message of hope and reconciliation that Pope John Paul proclaimed. The Message Stick will visit our Parish for one week beginning the 7 August.
Youth Gathering 2005 People aged 15 to 25 years. Interested in youth issues in the Diocese of Sale, who wish to be involved in setting the agenda for youth orientated initiatives within our faith community, is looking for volunteers.
