Van blazes at roadside

A STOLEN van was found alight on the side of the road in Yannathan on Monday.
Pakenham police saw the Mercedes van engulfed in flames by the side of Westernport Road about 4.30am.
Police said the deliverytype van had been taken from the driveway of Keysborough home about 4am but had not been reported missing. The owner noticed the van had gone when contacted by police.
The van was totally destroyed.
Any witnesses were urged to contact Pakenham CIU on 5941 1033 or CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
