CHERYLLE Hampton has been awarded a life membership of the Upper Beaconsfield Kindergarten.
Ms Hampton has been the driving force behind the committee for the past four years, and for three of those years she has served as president.
She has achieved many things in her time on the committee, the most notable being the extension of the prekinder building in McBride Road, Upper Beaconsfield.
Ms Hampton has also been instrumental in many behind-the-scenes changes which have greatly improved the running and financial standing of the kindergarten.
The surprise award was presented to Ms Hampton in front of many of her family, friends and past and present staff.
