Bandit attack plunders bats

BEACONSFIELD under-16 Bandits went on a bowling rampage at the weekend, dismissing Officer at home for 18.
Brad Pitcher returned the superb figures of 6/6 from eight overs and was well supported by Troy McDermott with 4/12 from seven overs.
In reply the Bandits cruised to 0/95 at stumps with Madison Andrews 47 not out and Peter Sofra 34 not out.

UNDER 16 TIGERS

The Tigers hosted Emerald Black and batted first and compiled 6/148 by close of play.
Bill Carlyle batted beautifully for 37 not out and received great support from Gus Patti with 30, Jack Benbow (21) and Toby Meredith (17 not out).

UNDER 14 EAGLES

The young Eagles travelled to Emerald to play Emerald Black needing a good performance to stay in touch with the top four.
The Eagles batted sensibly all day to post a highly competitive total of 7/114.
Alex Benbow continued his great batting with 24 and there were fine knocks from Lachlan Murphy (23) and Jordan Kelly (22) not out.

UNDER 14 SAINTS

The ever-improving Saints last week hosted Emerald Red.
The Saints batted first and after an early collapse, being 6/25 at one stage, recovered to post 9/117 declared after 30 overs.
Nathan Madden posted his highest score for the year with 39 not out, James Rothwell made 11 and Jade Osbourne 10.
In reply the Saints had the Reds in trouble at 3/16, Rothwell claiming two wickets.

UNDER 14 TIGERS

The Tigers hosted Pakenham Upper Gold in a top-of-the-table clash.
The Golds batted first and after four overs were 0/34.
The young Tigers battled hard to contain the Golds’ batsmen, eventually bowling them out for 131.
Nick Laing bowled well with 2/13 from three overs and Aaron Gerbes collected his first wicket for the year.
The Tigers will have to bat well this week to get over the line.

UNDER 12 BLITZ

The Blitz played Pakenham Upper and batted first making 3/73.
N. Madden made 12, Jack Sceney nine not out and Xavier Patti seven.
In reply Pakenham Upper finished with 6/60, Daniel McConchie (2/4) and Thomas Boatman (1/6) bowling well for the Blitz.

CLUB NOTES
