Business park is doing lots of business

UP TO a dozen lots have been sold in the new South East Business Park.
The park, on the outskirts of Pakenham on PakenhamKooweerup Road, has been the focus of growing community – and commercial – interest since development began several months ago.
Cardinia Shire general manager of planning and development Phil Walton said last week that the lots been sold were in the first stage of the park. Release of stage two, for bulky goods, is said to be imminent.
Formerly known as Greenhills before it was rebadged as the South East Business Park, the industrial development is a joint venture between council, Parklea Pty Ltd and the McMullin Group.
The park’s boundaries are PakenhamKooweerup, Greenhills and McGregor roads and the Pakenham Bypass. When completed the park will cover 164 hectares. Lots currently advertised range in price between $312,000 to $780,000. Developers hope to see the business park become a central hub of industry and employment for the local region.
