Join in Youth Week

PEOPLE aged 12 to 25 have been invited to nominate for selection on the Casey National Youth Week Committee.
The council wants creative young minds to join and create fantastic celebrations for young people during the 2007 National Youth Week in April.
Casey mayor Kevin Bradford said National Youth Week’s popularity in Casey was growing each year.
He said the council wanted more young people to be involved because of Casey’s huge population and to help create events and activities that young people could be part of.
“Casey’s Youth Services will hold committee meetings from this month onwards to plan ahead for this exciting week and will apply for additional funding from the State Government so today is a good day to consider joining the committee,” Cr Bradford said.
“Getting involved may help to develop skills such as event management, promotions, artwork and networking.”
Further information is available from Casey youth participation officer Eloise Brown on 9705 5200.
