St John’s Anglican Church

ST JOHN’S Anglican Church is at 1 St. Georges Road (corner of Emerald and St. Georges Road), Upper Beaconsfield. Phone: 5944 3862.
Service Times
This Sunday the Bible teaching by Rev. Iain Hanson will be from 1 John chapter 2 verses 28 to chapter 3 verse 24 on “Children of God”.
8:30am Prayer Book and Holy Communion
This service is more traditional in music and service style. It has Holy Communion every week and the service is conducted from the Australian Prayer Book.
10am Family Service
This service is for families young or old and is a more relaxed service with a combination of modern and traditional music. It includes Kid’s church (which is held once a fortnight during the service) and there is a crèche also available which has a sound system so that you can hear the whole service while in the crèche.
St. John’s 20th anniversary of the
building of the church
Come and join us on 9 October 2005 at 9:30am service (followed by lunch) as we celebrate St. John’s 20th anniversary since building the new church. Bishop John Wilson will join us on this day as he did 20 years ago. All welcome.
Please let Kath Florance know if you are coming (for catering purposes) on 5941 7137.
Kid’s club for years four to six (GLU)
At St. John’s we run a kid’s club for years four to six. The leaders are responsible members of St. John’s who also get involved in the fun.
GLU runs on a Thursday from 4pm to 6pm during school term and only costs $3 a week.
OP Shop
We run an op shop on Mondays and Thursday from 9am to noon. Come along and visit us, and join us in a cup of tea or coffee.
