VIGOROUS debate will be welcome around the council table, according to new Cardinia Shire mayor Bill Ronald.
Cr Ronald said he hoped all councillors would express individual opinions.
The endorsement by the Cardinia Ratepayers and Residents Association of Crs Ronald, Brett Owen, Bill Pearson and Ed Chatwin meant the prospect of the foursome voting in a bloc was always going to be raised.

“I certainly don’t expect everyone to have the same point of view,” he said.
