BEACONSFIELD’S two under17 teams, the Tigers and Bandits, played each other in a hardfought, but goodspirited game at the weekend.
Peter Sofra (28), Maddy Andrews (25) and Brad Hollick (27) all retired for the Bandits with Tom Warburton taking 2/11 for the Tigers.
In the Tigers innings Gus Patti (25) and Jayden Mack (25) were notout, while Tom Carlisle took 3/17 for the Bandits.
Scores: Bandits 6/114 defeated Tigers 3/94.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:UNDER 15

In under15 matches the Eagles won an excellent game against Nar Nar GoonMaryknoll by just three runs, getting home in the last over of the day.
A good stand between Ben Martin (15 retired) and Kristian Meredith set the scene for Adam Young and Ryan Grafton to get the Eagles over the line.
Adam Young also bowled well to take 3/16 with the ball.
Scores Eagles 6/90 defeated Nar Nar GoonMaryknoll 7/87.
The Tigers played Catani and some indecisive running between wickets saw three players run out. As a result the Tigers could only manage 8/83 with Nick Beltram playing well for 22 not out and Josh Lazaro giving good support with 12.
Catani in reply were 4/112.
The Saints toiled hard but found themselves undermanned against a strong Emerald Blacks team and were outpointed 8/42 to 1/146.
Jarryd and Nathan Madden both managed 10 with the bat.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:UNDER 13

In under13 games the Beaconsfield Minors had to dig deep to overcome a determined Nar Nar Goon Red, eventually winning 8/96 to 5/79.
Vindy Krishnamoorthy continued his fine form with 16 retired, well supported by Nathan Madden (15 retired) and Luke McBride with 12.
Bowling honours were shared with all players contributing.
The Eagles and Tigers played each other in an entertaining game with the Eagles getting home by 13 runs.
James Munro (15 retired), Andre Ackomui (16 retired) were the pick of the batsmen for the Eagles, while Georgie Benbow continued her rise up the list with 2/1, Rowdy Dickens also took 2/1.
For the Tigers Jordan Sheehan (16 retired) and Jake Aarts (15 retired) batted well. Jordan also took 2/5 with the ball.
The Saints continued to show improvement to post 8/89 against Upper Beaconsfield.
Callum Tout was the star with the bat making 36 not out. Zach Lucas and Liam Dullard both took wickets in Upper Beaconsfield’s innings.
Scores: Saints 8/89, Upper Beaconsfield 2/130.
The Blitz played out a rare tie against Nar Nar Goon White both teams finishing on 93.
Xavier Patti (15) and Jackson Parker (16) both were not out for the Blitz and Jerome Wilson also retired on 15. Daniel McConchie took 1/2 with some tight bowling.
