IT was a good pennant day on the rinks for Berwick Bowls Club’s RVBA number-one side with 18 shots up against Pakenham on Saturday.

LADIES

The ninth round of VLBA pennant matches was played on Tuesday, 22 November with the Berwick (1) team continuing its success joined this week by the winning Berwick (3) team.
Berwick (1) (A1 Section 7) defeated Glen Eira/McKinnon (3) in a home match with 55 shots up. The final score was 127-72.
Berwick (2) (A1 Section 8) played Cranbourne (1) at home and went down by 17 shots. The final score was 75-92.
Berwick (3) (A2 Section 8) played away and won with 13 shots up against Dandenong City (1). The final score was 115-102.
Berwick (4) (B1 Section 8) in a home match against Willow Lodge (1) was defeated with 20 shots down.

CLUB CHAMPION

Jean Reddy is the 2005 VLBA club champion having defeated Barbara Dupe in an inspiring final match.
She will play in the champion of champions at Narre Warren on Monday, 5 December at a time to be announced.
Many Berwick supporters are expected to attend.
